Do not set up the ignition system in the rocket motor unless on the launch pad. Static electricity has been known to ignite ignition systems.
Make sure your rocket is approved by a senior member of the association before approving it with the Launch Safety Officer (LSO). This reduces the association’s burden on our launch site provider, UROC, who allows the association to launch for free.
The Range Safety Officer (RSO) has the final say on whether a rocket can be launched or not. If they say a rocket will not be launched it will not be launched.
