Always wear safety glasses in the lab when you or another person are using lab equipment, regardless of whether the equipment is being used near you or not.
If you are unsure how to operate a specific piece of equipment do not use that piece of equipment. Ask a senior member of the association to show you how to use any equipment you are unfamiliar with.
Put back all equipment in its proper place after use. If you do see a piece of equipment out of place, be helpful and put it back.
Do not take any equipment from the lab unless given written permission by the equipment manager.
Always store flammable materials or chemicals in the fireproof cabinet.
Label everything with your name and phone number/slack handle that you leave in the lab otherwise, it will be used.
Contact the equipment manager or safety officer if you are unsure where to store a chemical.
No food or drink in the labs. Hazardous chemicals are present.
Remove all rockets that are not being currently worked on or are going to be used in the near future from the lab. The lab is not a storage place for unused or previously used rockets.
No spray painting in the lab. There is a paint booth on campus that can be reserved through the School of Technology (See Equipment and Resources).
